Clear your schedule for Saturday, June 15, 2024, as Salmon River proudly hosts its first-ever ShamRockin’ at the River: Shamrock Community Day!

Prepare for a full day of excitement starting at 11 a.m., with activities designed for the whole family to enjoy. From the Shamrock Shuffle 5K walk/run/shuffle to a variety of engaging activities for kids, there’s something for everyone! Cap off the day with a movie screening beneath the twinkling stars. Don’t forget to rock your shamrock green! And, of course, delicious food options will be plentiful throughout the day.

The event will take place on the main campus of Salmon River Central School, 637 County Road 1, Fort Covington, N.Y. 12937.

As with any event this epic, we are still working out some of the details to make it truly an unforgettable day for our school community. We look forward to sharing more information with you soon.

Shamrock Shuffle 5K Walk/Run/Shuffle registration

Those who plan to participate in the Shamrock Shuffle 5K Walk/Run/Shuffle are invited to register for the race online. Those who register ahead of time will be provided one free Shamrock Shuffle t-shirt! Online registration deadline for the Shamrock Shuffle 5K Walk/Run/Shuffle has ended. We hope to see you there on June 15.

Alumni Games

There are two alumni games planned for the big day:

• Alumni Baseball Game – 11 a.m.
• Alumni Softball Game – 11 a.m.

Pickleball Tournament

Whether you’re a pickleball pro or a newcomer, come showcase your skills at our Pickleball Tournament at ShamRockin’ at the River on June 15 at 1 p.m.!

𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐛𝐲 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟖, 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭.

The cost is $40 per team. All proceeds from the tournament will go to the Salmon River Ski Club.

All ability levels are welcome, ages 15 and up. There will be men’s, women’s and mixed doubles brackets. Prizes will be awarded for first place in each bracket.
