As we prepare for the start of the new school year on Sept. 5, please note that the traffic pattern in the Salmon River Middle and High School parking lots has changed.

We encourage you to review the attached map, which outlines the designated lanes for High School and Middle School drop-offs, as well as the parking spots for staff, students and visitors.

Rules to Remember

For Drivers

  • Follow all stop signs and instructions from district employees.
  • Stay alert, watch for pedestrians and avoid cell phone use.
  • Pull forward as far as possible in the circle drive when dropping off or picking up children.
  • Ensure your child is ready for a quick drop-off to keep the process smooth.
  • Follow the speed limit of 10 mph on school property.
  • Do not double park or cut the line.
  • Do not park in drop-off lanes.
  • Park only in designated parking areas.

For Pedestrians

  • Always cross at designated crosswalks.
  • Caregivers, please keep children close to avoid moving vehicles.
